POXET 90MG from apothekestore contains Dapoxetine which belongs to the group of medicines called Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors. It is used in the treatment of premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is a common male sexual disorder in which the male ejaculates sperms very early with less sexual stimulation and before he wants to. It is caused mainly due to hormonal imbalance, abnormal levels of brain chemicals or any other local infections or disease affecting the sexual organs.

Dapoxetine  delays ejaculation (release of semen) by increasing the activity of a particular chemical called serotonin in the brain. This promotes control over ejaculation and helps to hold sperms for a longer duration of time. Prior to the treatment, your doctor would perform certain tests to access whether you have or at risk of developing severe low blood pressure while stand up.

Take POXET 90MG (apothekestore) at least 1-3 hours before anticipated sexual activity. Avoid consumption of alcohol or grapefruit juice while taking POXET 90MG (PRILIGY). Before taking POXET 90MG inform your doctor if you have any history of bleeding disorders or mental disorders. It should not be used in patients without any sexual problems.

POXET 60MG is not recommended for use in patients with liver or heart problems. It is also not suitable for use in children or adolescents (below 18 years). Inform your doctor immediately if you experience dizziness upon standing up suddenly or if you experience sudden mood changes or suicidal thoughts after taking POXET 90MG. The most common side effects of taking POXET 90MG are dizziness, nausea, tiredness, increased sweating, restlessness and decrease in sex drive. Consult your doctor if any of the side effect troubles you.

• Treats premature ejaculation in adult men (18 – 64 years of age)

 HOW POXET 90MG WORKS

POXET 90MG delays ejaculation by blocking the reuptake of a neurotransmitter called serotonin between the nerve cells. This increases the activity of serotonin within the brain which increases the time taken to release semen (ejaculate) and can improve the control over the ejaculation during sexual intercourse.

 DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take POXET 90MG as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without food. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Take this medicine at least 1-3 hours before anticipated sexual activity. Your doctor will decide the suitable dose and duration of therapy for you, depending upon your age, body weight and health condition.

 SIDE EFFECTS OF POXET 90MG

COMMON :

• Dizziness, headache
• Feeling irritated and restlessness, difficulty in concentration
• Low sex drive and erectile difficulties
• Feeling tired, sick and sleepy
• Problems with sleeping or unwanted dreams
• Involuntary shaking and trembling
• Numbness of body parts
• Blurred vision
• Ringing in the ears
• Nasal block
• Indigestion, stomach pain and bloating, diarrhoea, and constipation
• Excessive sweating
• Increased blood pressure

UNCOMMON :

• Mood changes, feeling overly excited or feeling threatened for no reason
• Confusion, disorientation or unable to think clearly
• Abnormal heart rate
• Depression, nervousness
• Feeling hot, abnormal or drunk
• Vision problems, eye pain or dilated pupils
• Low blood pressure
• Feeling itchy or cold sweats
• Spinning sensation
• Abnormal taste
• Teeth grinding

RARE

• Sudden onset of sleep (Ex. narcolepsy)
• Urge to empty bowel

Stop taking POXET 90MG and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

• Seizures (fits)
• Fainting or light headedness while standing
• Mood changes
• Suicidal thoughts or a tendency for self-harming
